What is the Camas Wealth Orchestrator℠?
A collaborative team of advisors built to help you grow, access, and protect your wealth: a Wealth Strategist who designs your plan, a Wealth Orchestrator who manages it day to day, and your specialists coordinated around it. It delivers the substance of a family office without the overhead that keeps traditional family offices out of reach.
How is this different from a financial advisor?
A financial advisor is a good start, but no single advisor is an expert in tax planning, estate planning, risk management, lending and investments all at once. This is a coordinated team working from one plan, with one person accountable for keeping it coordinated.
Who designs my plan?
A Wealth Strategist. The Wealth Strategist team is led by Rick Bailey (JD, MAcc, CFP®, Camas's founder and CEO), who has a hand in virtually every plan the firm designs. Your Wealth Orchestrator helps develop the plan alongside the Wealth Strategist, so two experienced planning minds work on it before you ever see it.
Who will be my main contact?
Your Wealth Orchestrator: your primary contact, who manages and coordinates everything for you day to day and oversees the whole engagement from the first conversation onward.
Can I keep my current CPA, attorney or advisor?
Usually, yes. Professionals you already have and trust are integrated into the team where they're a strong fit; vetted specialists are introduced where there are gaps. What changes isn't who you work with: it's that they finally work from the same plan.
What does it cost?
A one-time setup fee starting at $5,000, depending on the complexity of your situation, and ongoing service of $495 per month. Both are a small fraction of what family‑office coordination has traditionally cost.
What if I'm not quite at the asset or income numbers?
That's a case-by-case conversation. The thresholds mark where coordination reliably pays for itself, but complexity matters as much as size. If you're close, schedule the discovery call and we'll tell you honestly whether it fits.
How long until the plan is working?
The plan itself is typically designed, presented and finalized within the first 90 days. Implementation unfolds over six months to a year, and some strategies (multi‑year tax work, exit preparation) run longer by design.
What happens when my situation changes?
That's the point of the ongoing engagement. Quarterly reviews with your Wealth Orchestrator catch the changes; deep reviews with your Wealth Strategist adjust the design when a major event calls for it.
How do I get started?
A discovery call with a Wealth Orchestrator, at no cost, to work out whether this fits. On either side.
